六六、無名無位 無憂無慮

66. Without fame and rank one will be free from worldly cares.

人知名位為樂，不知無名無位之樂為最真；人知饑寒為慮，不知不饑不寒之慮為更甚。

【今文解譯】

人人都知道名分和位分能給人帶來快樂，殊不知沒有名分和位分的逍遙之樂才是最實在的快樂。

人人都知道饑餓和寒冷會給人帶來憂慮，殊不知不愁吃穿、終日不思憂患才是更加令人擔憂的。

【English Translation】

People only know that it is a pleasure to have fame and rank, but know not that having no fame and rank is the truest pleasure.

People only know that it is a worry to live in hunger and cold, but know not that the state carefree from food and clothing is worse than a worry.
