二六五、濃不勝淡 俗不如雅

265. Richness and gaudiness are not as good as plainness and lightness, nor is vulgarity a match for refinement.

袞冕①行中，著一藜杖②的山人，便增一段高風；漁樵③路上，著一袞衣的朝士④，轉添許多俗氣。故知濃不勝淡，俗不如雅也。
