二二四、濃夭淡久 大器晚成

224. Gaudy colors and rich flavors are inferior to light but constant ones and early flourish is not as good as late maturity.

桃李雖豔，何如鬆蒼柏翠之堅貞？梨杏雖甘，何如橙黃桔綠之馨冽①？信乎！濃夭②不及淡久，早秀③不如晚成也。
