一六九、為奇不異 求清不激

169. To be outstanding is not the result of a queer deed, nor is that of an extreme one to be noble and unsullied.

能脫俗便是奇，作意①尚奇者，不為奇而為異；不合汙便是清，絕俗求清者，不為清而為激。
