一六二、信人己誠 疑人己詐

162. He who has trust in others is sincere and deceitful is he who has a distrust of others.

信人者，人未必盡誠，己則獨誠①矣；疑人者，人未必皆詐，己則先詐矣。

① 獨誠：自己做到誠實。

一個信任別人的人，盡管別人未必都是誠實的，他自己就已經是個誠實可信
