九九、逆境礪誌 順境殺人

99. Adverse circumstances whet aspirations, while favorable ones snap willpower.

居逆境中，周身皆針砭①藥石②，砥節礪行而不覺；處順境內，眼前盡兵刃戈矛，銷膏靡骨③而不知。

① 針砭：古代治病用的金屬針謂“針”，石針謂“砭”。

② 藥石：用植物配成的中藥謂“藥”，用礦物配成的中藥謂
